Description
Renovation of a corner row house in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of West Baltimore. Work included interior reconfiguration including new walls, stairs and storefront. Additionally, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems were upgraded. New flooring and kitchen equipment was installed. Exterior work includes rebuilt handicap accessible entrance and retaining wall.

Project Highlights
This is the first economic development project by Newsong Urban Ministries. The Michael Group fit out the first floor as a coffee shop and grocery store. This business will be owned and operated by neighborhood residents. The second and third floors is being used as Newsong Urban Ministries offices.
